Meet the founder of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Karate Academy
Sensei Kartikey Dubey
Sensei Kartikey Dubey is the founder of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Karate Academy and a state karate team coach. At the age of 5, he stepped into the world of karate. He found his interest in karate by watching the movies of the great martial artists and actors like Bruce Lee, Van Damme, and Jackie Chan. He played in many national karate championships and won many medals for his state and also serve for Army Public School Bhopal as a Coach (2021-2022) . After achieving his first black belt in Shotokan style, he opened his very first karate class in Bhopal district. And after that, no one could stop him from taking a flight in the sky and achieving his goal of making karate popular amongst people. To achieve his aim, he opened his second branch of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Karate Academy in 21CSR, and in the meantime, he got an opportunity to do a job to train the police and commandos. And now his dream is to win the gold medal for the nation in the Olympics, for which he is putting lots of effort and hard work into his players and wants to discover many more players who will make the nation proud.
Teaching Classes
Karate instructors teach the martial art of karate to students in groups or individually. They demonstrate techniques and help students perfect their own techniques. Instructors monitor students' progress and prepare them to advance in rank. Instructors test students throughout the year and hold ceremonies to give students their new belts. If students go to competitions, the instructor will help prepare them. In some cases the instructor will travel to the competition with the student to guide and coach him throughout the event. Instructors also help organize seminars or demonstrations hosted by karate schools.
